Needed: Cooks with a passion for food and fun and a strong desire to further their skills in a pub environment. Team-work, organisation and ownership are essential qualities for success. Must have a love of the fast paced environment and understand food handling and cleanliness. In need of full time and part time staff for all shifts.
Minimum 2 year cooking experience in a fast paced kitchen environment
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills
Ability to take direction and work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Able to stand for long periods of time
Love of craft beer
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour
