The Manager role is an essential position in the operations of Granville Room. They are a hands-on employee/manager in the venue and their activity is at all times geared towards driving revenue and developing people.
It is a role meant to provide a face for the business and at all times maintain perfect product & brand standards. They will need to show a passion for not only product and service, but also be a team leader and have an overall drive to make our industry better.
-Cost of Sales (CoS) management with Bar Manager
-Oversee bar cleanliness and environment cleanliness
-MoD duties & coverage where needed
-Staff & schedule costing
-Labour & P&L management
There are certain shifts that are required to be worked by the Manager. Other shifts are balanced with other management to get maximum value out of the position including being available for long weekends and special events.
-Write & cost the venue schedule
-Promote bartender sales & amazing service across the bar and on the floor
-Champion our product through proper pouring and perfect recipe use
-Participate in Bar culture events around the city & within the group
-Be in an always state of learning and promote learning within others
-Manage & promote the various product driven promotions
Other Manager Deliverables:
-R&M & Cleaning audits
-Marketing meeting (biweekly – included with Operations meeting)

Compensation: Competitive based on experience
Requirements: Food Safe Level 1, High School Diploma, POS - MICROS, Serve it Right, WSET Level 1, Work Permit Necessary
