The Position

If you are proud of your efficiency and professional ethics, deliver peace of mind to our respective departments as a Shipper-Receiver!

 

Using a high degree of professional integrity the Shipper- Receiver position receives incoming products and delivers them to respective departments. Using your organization and attention to detail skills this position maintains and manages the receiving area, and assists with the inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives, verifies, and delivers purchase orders
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of all goods purchased and stored on the premises
  • Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment; conducts monthly cleanliness inspections
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries;  track and verify shipments

 

What You’ll Require

  • Experience and general knowledge of Inventory practices
  • Customer service skills including ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer group
  • Working knowledge of computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, data based software, email and web browsers.
  • Experience with Inventory practices desired
  • Walking, standing and sitting – postures vary throughout the day
  • Ability to lift, pull or carry up to 50 lbs and move load 360 degrees may be required
