Chef De Partie
$18-22 per hour + gratuities
A Chef de Partie at the Naramata Inn is committed to executing exceptional food with exacting standards. They run their line stations, work cooperatively with the commis team to ensure highest food quality and assist in creating amazing dining experiences for the guests of the Naramata Inn. We are looking for strong, dedicated and disciplined cooks who work well within a team and love to learn.
Reports to sous chef/Executive Chef
Responsible for the production of menu items including: preparation, cooking and presentation to the highest standards.
Works with the commis team to ensure their station is prepped and ready for service times.
Audits prepped products before service to ensure quality standards
Writes thorough and accurate prep lists for our commis team and follows par levels to ensure product freshness and quality
Runs their station with the highest level of skill, sanitation and organization.
Takes count of station and fills out order sheets when ingredients need to be replenished
Operates kitchen equipment in a hygienic, safe and proper manner. It is the cooks responsibility to report to management when equipment is not performing to high standard
Cleans and sanitizes their station above and beyond the required standards
Ensures safety and hygiene practices/procedures are adhered to an assist in maintaining quality assurance standards that comply with all Health and Safety Standards and Regulations
Promotes and maintains positive communication and relationships among management, staff, guests and the public
Carries themselves with pride and positive attitude aligning with the company values
Ensures guests rights of privacy and confidentiality are maintained, except in the proper operation of the business
Perform other duties as required
3-5 years in similar position/restaurant level
High school diploma
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Strong team player, fast paced environment
Knowledge of local ingredients is a plus!
Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours
Willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
