Reports to on shift sous chef, executive chef
The first cook is responsible for the production of menu items including: preparation, productions and presentation of menu items and will maintain a high standard of food quality and safety.
Working with the line teams to produce high end product in a fast paced environment
Coordination with the prep teams to make sure par levels are being met
Operates kitchen equipment in a hygienic, safe and proper manner. It is the cooks responsibility to report to management when equipment is not performing to high standard
Cleans and sanitizes their station above and beyond the required standards
Ensures safety and hygiene practices/procedures are adhered to an assist in maintaining quality assurance standards that comply with all Health and Safety Standards and Regulations
Promotes and maintains positive communication and relationships among management, staff, guests and the public
Carries themselves with pride and positive attitude aligning with the company values
Ensures guests rights of privacy and confidentiality are maintained, except in the proper operation of the business
Perform other duties as required
