🍽️ Server Responsibilities
Guest Service
Greet guests promptly with a friendly, welcoming attitude
Present menus and explain specials or promotions
Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary needs
Order Handling
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Enter orders into the POS system correctly
Communicate special requests to the kitchen or bar
Food & Beverage Delivery
Serve food and drinks in a timely, organized manner
Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction
Refill drinks and provide additional items as needed
Table Maintenance
Clear plates, reset tables, and maintain a clean dining area
Pre-bus and ensure tables are ready for the next guests
Restock server stations (napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.)
Payment Handling
Present checks and process payments
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Close out tables and resolve any billing concerns
Teamwork
Support other servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
Communicate effectively during busy shifts
Safety & Standards
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Understand and comply with alcohol service laws (if applicable)
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
