Bridges Restaurant is hiring an events manager for a one year contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in an event management role, be passionate, organized and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
-organize reservations and large group bookings through OpenTable (both corporate and weddings)
-drive sales through networking
-be the first point of contact for all reservation and function enquiries
-coordinate and setup floor plans
-develop marketing material to increase business
-coordinate with the management team and the Chef when planning events
-Manage excel spreadsheets and budgets

Skills & Qualifications:
-proficient in Microsoft Office
-excellent interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written
-creative thinker
-adaptable, punctual and able to learn quickly
-self motivated
-demonstrates business professionalism, respect for confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive information

This is a full time position.
Hours must be flexible, including weekends and holidays.
