Giusti is a new Italian restaurant in East Vancouver. Looking for cooks to fill both line cook and prep positions. Must be available to work weekends. Hiring for attitude over experience.
There are two kinds of restaurants in every city: the kind that demand your attention, and the kind that earn it. The former arrive with fanfare and embossed menus, with concepts so lofty they need footnotes. The latter simply are — no manifesto required — quietly weaving themselves into the fabric of the neighborhood until you can’t remember what life was like before they existed. We’re aiming to be the second kind.
There’s no shame in aspiring to excellence. But we’re chasing something trickier: familiarity without complacency, warmth without pretense. We want to be the place you come back to not because it’s perfect, but because it’s yours.
