About this Role: As the Marketing Manager, you'll propel our brand forward through adept organization, innovative thinking, and strategic execution. Your role is to orchestrate Saltyface’s marketing initiatives and doing so in a manner that places our customers first, upholds our values and brand recognition while maintaining our growth trajectory.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and managing the marketing calendar to synchronize campaigns with strategic objectives.
- Crafting comprehensive launch plans for new products, ensuring maximum impact and market penetration.
- Overseeing media buyers to optimize advertising efforts across various platforms.
- Cultivating strategic partnerships to expand Saltyface's reach and influence.
- Implementing effective work-back plans to streamline project execution and meet deadlines.
- Conceptualizing and executing engaging marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the marketing team (*note below), conducting regular one-on-one sessions to foster growth and alignment.
- Managing budgets effectively to optimize resource allocation and ensure profitability.
- Collaborating cross-departmentally to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Developing quarterly messaging strategies to maintain brand consistency and relevance.
- Continuously optimizing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducting thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.
- Orchestrating photoshoots to create captivating visual content that aligns with our brand identity.
- Planning and executing events to engage with customers and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and leadership within a similar industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing marketing initiatives and driving business results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building strong relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Proficient in data analysis (such platforms as Shopify, Klaviyo, Triple Whale etc) and comfortable leveraging insights to inform strategy.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The marketing team is comprised of:
Creative and Communications Manager: Responsible for running our design and content creation and affiliate program. Overseeing and providing strategic plans and overall support in email marketing, social media as well as playing a pivotal role in PR coordination and brand partnerships.
Email Marketing and Social Media Manager: Responsible for managing our social media accounts as well as our email campaigns.
Community and Marketing Coordinator: Supporting the above two roles in the affiliate program and social media as well as providing general assistance to the marketing department in day to day coordination or larger one off initiatives.
Compensation: This is a full time salaried position with a competitive compensation plan.
