Job Summary

Our client, an organization in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong technical background to join their dynamic team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing development and commercialization projects while providing technical support to our engineering team across various tasks. This role is based in Bromont, Quebec.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, risk mitigation and quality standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and assistance to the engineering team, offering guidance and troubleshooting across a spectrum of engineering tasks related to medical device development.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective cross-functional collaboration between project stakeholders, engineering team, and other departments to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization to meet project milestones.
  • Business Development: Support Business Development Director in Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and new project proposals.
  • Observe and support all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Follow the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practices.
  • Perform other related duties and or special projects as assigned by the manager.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in project management, ideally within the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong technical background supporting engineering functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite and related computer software. Familiarity with medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO standards) is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French (4/5+), with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of addressing various levels of technical challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Agile and flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
