Our client: One of the world's largest engineering consulting firms, is seeking an Engineering and Design Construction Manager (Oil Project). Located in Northern Alberta, Fort Mcmurray.
The Construction Manager will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of construction activities for the oil project. They will be responsible for overseeing the formation of a construction team, developing design drawings for plants, and packaging engineering work packages. Additionally, the Construction Manager will be tasked with creating narratives outlining how the packages will be built on-site, ensuring clarity and efficiency throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
Familiarity with writing and design principles, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive narratives.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Role 2:
Our client: One of the world's largest civil engineering and mining companies committed to innovative and sustainable practices. Is seeking Construction Managers who specialize in the following: Civil/earthworks, Mechanical Piping, In-stream habitation, and vegetation. For a $1.2 billion, water treatment program. The initiative aimed at removing selenium and nitrates from mine-impacted water, focusing on improving water quality in the Elk Valley, BC.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our aggressive water treatment program, focusing on regulatory compliance and environmental restoration.
Location: Elk Valley/ Sparwood/Elkford area.
