We are currently searching for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The Business Development Manager position has significant responsibilities in generating sales revenue through the acquisition of new business opportunities. As the project lead, the BDM will work with other departments to create compelling proposals, presentations and onboarding strategies for new clients. The position has an attractive fixed base salary and a gainful compensation package for individuals who are driven to provide service solutions B2B.


Responsibilities:


We are currently searching for a dynamic Business Development Manager for the Atlantic Canada to lead our Business Services sales. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the generation of new business opportunities within the Atlantic Region. This is supported by the creation of compelling and strategic proposals, presentations and multiple client entry strategies. This is an independent contributor role.


The position has an attractive fixed and variable compensation package based

upon previous proven achievement and attainment of targets.


Experience:


  • Lead Generation/Prospecting – Market research and documentation to source new business opportunities.
  • Communication – Letters, emails, writing proposals, preparing presentations.
  • Relationship Management – Establish multiple level contacts within organizations and industry associations.
  • Builds long-term account value with key decision makers.
  • Manages internal relationships required to ensure solution meets clients’ key decision criteria.
  • Strategic Planning – Forms compelling strategies for client contact, relationship management, bidding and winning, assists in long-term strategic planning within the territory or industry.
  • Database Management – Maintains accurate records of all client contact and details.
  • Pipeline Management – Demonstrated experience building a healthy pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecasting future new business wins.
  • Time Management – Successfully multi-task, create a sense of urgency and work within tight deadlines.
  • Event Management - Support and plan client events e.g. site tours, participation at events.
  • Report Completion – Relevant to YTD status and strategic plans.


Qualifications


  • Experience as a active hunter, B2B sales role.
  • High degree of resiliency and very entrepreneurial in approach.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering sales success results.
  • Willing to adopt our proven sales model which provides the opportunity to leverage your sales acumen while being open and committed to learning a new go to market sales approach.
  • Experience in selling within the Real Estate/Property Management industry.
  • Hands-on Sales Professional: sales process focused, relationship builder both internally and externally.
  • Territory/Industry management expertise.
  • Think logically with a common-sense approach.
  • High degree of personal accountability, integrity and assertiveness to manage the internal sale and deliver required outcomes.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.


Must be able to pass a Police Criminal Background Check.
