STORE MANAGER (SENIOR)- EDMONTON
Due to the recent exponential growth in the last five years ,our client, a Successful Expanding National Canadian Retail Organization, have granted us the mandate to seek and find a Senior Store Manager for its fist new location in Edmonton. According to the President, technically the plan is to get another extra 24 stores off the pipeline off the West market”.
The Store Manager would support a team of 10-12, devoted employees to profitability of the Organization. There might be an opportunity to grow and expand the team as revenues continue to grow.
As a Senior Store leader , you will be part of a diverse leadership and sales team, who you will stimulate and motivate each day. You will assist in positioning the entire team on driving sales, providing an outstanding client experience, developing clear-cut talent and ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the brand and knowledge of the Home/retail business with organizational skills to manage the store will greatly influence the client and associate experience.
As a Store Manager, you will also provide input on marketing, and client relationship strategies. Your daily presence on the sales floor will drive excellence in client experiences and ensure that associates are receiving both ongoing & in-the-moment training. You will help shape and execute store strategies to build trusting relationships with clients and associates to drive revenue. In addition, you will be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are flowed throughout the team.
To thrive in this role, you are willing to lead by example and with integrity, cooperate, be intelligently inquisitive, tactical, lead through uncertainty and alter and outcomes oriented. As a member of the management team, you will also be responsible for leading sales personally and through the team.

I. The selected Senior Candidate is accountable for:
i. Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to map business processes and support strategic initiatives to ensure that best-in-class content is delivered on-brand and in the best possible way.
ii. Accountable for all store results and activities (both employee and customer facing);
a. Customers experience
b. Merchandising
c. Employees standards
d. Ensuring that the product details are complete, accurate, and reflected on the floor in a timely manner
e. Identify and communicate business requirements based on analysis for improved store functionality and enhanced customer experience (Store traffic, Client Buying habits and behavior , Conversion rate
II. Provide leadership and direction for the operational activities and analysis for:
a. Employee productivity and career development
b. Ongoing recruitment for talent
III. Responsible for developing and managing the performance/success of:
a. Assistant Manager
b. Employees
