Job Description:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the entire marketing lifecycle - the planning, execution, evaluation, and reporting - of the complete suite of Beretta group companies and products in Canada, all while maintaining their respective brand identities. With a focus on customer reach, acquisition, conversion, retention and loyalty, the Marketing Manager will liaise with both internal and external related parties, with a committed focus on driving sales revenue and market share.   

 

Position Summary:

Marketing which includes but is not limited to:

o  Trade Show and Exhibition coordination and execution in harmonization with Sales Managers and agency-based manufacturers sales representatives.

o  Creative development for different media channels, including collateral for magazines, online, newsletters, press, TV, etc.

o  Create promotional materials, including point-of-sale displays, signage, giveaways.

o  Development of product, company and other required presentations via PowerPoint or other vehicles as required.

o  Creative development of website and e-commerce content.

o  Plan, create, and execute product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to launch, ensuring the successful rollout of new products.

o  Plan, create, and develop campaigns, contests, draws, and rebates.

·      Coordinated, created, and updated all contracts and marketing media for magazines, digital, radio, and television.

·      Identify and cultivate relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage and endorsements.

·      Manage ambassador and affiliate programs. Negotiate Contracts. Continuously assess and optimize the programs to maximize their effectiveness and track performance.

·      Liaison with Outdoor Conservation Groups and non-profit organizations.

·      Manage, contribute, coordinate, and develop multiple social media accounts – content calendar.

·      Manage and grow Newsletter lists.

·      Support CRM (Salesforce) improvement initiatives and document control – Dealer Portal, Libraries.

·      In-store support for dealers with PK’s sales support, product placement, and presentation.

·      Organize, prepare, and attend Trade Shows and other exhibitions—Outdoor, Law Enforcement, and Military/Defence.

·      Day-to-day contact with sales manager and agency partners- collaboration, timing, asset needs, etc.

·      Collaborate with sales to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to support key accounts and channels.

·      Maintain professional and product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

·      Oversee all aspects of public relations, including media relations and press releases, to maintain a positive brand image, convey messaging, and enhance visibility.

·      Create marketing programs to:

o  Increase sales volumes.

o  Increase public awareness/brand positioning.

o  Drive sales in categories.

·      Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.

·      Design, manage, and grow E-Commerce efforts with third-party website developers – WordPress and WooCommerce.

·      Coordinate, manage, and motivate staff to complete tasks and work towards goals and objectives.

·      Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.

·      Develop a marketing plan with forecasts and budgets.

·      Maintain accountability to deadlines, budgets, and branding standards.

·      Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate Factory personnel to maintain current brand expectations and ensure global directions are met.

·      Prepare and present presentations of products to dealers, buyers, and executive personnel.

·      Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.

·      Implement special projects as assigned by the General Manager.

·      Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualification:

 

·      University/College Degree in Marketing/Event Planning/Graphic Design or related field or equivalent 5 years marketing experience.

·      Experience in Marketing/Planning/Graphic Design for 2 years.

·      Experience in Web design and E-Commerce for 2 years.

·      Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

·      Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, experience working with Vector and EPS files, and working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.

·      Able to create magazine advertising, POP materials, press materials, catalogs, brochures, and other creative collateral.

·      Experience in CRM software - Salesforce.

·      Experience in social media and newsletter campaign development for Business.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills.

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·      Ability to speak and present publicly in front of groups - interact with customers at exhibitions and range demonstrations.

·      Excellent motivating and negotiating skills.

·      Ability to analyze data for strategic improvements and growth.

·      Strong project and people management skills.

·      Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

·      Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.

·      Has a valid passport: with occasional travel in Canada, the USA and Europe.

·      A reliable vehicle: ability to commute to the Oshawa (HQ) office daily.

·      Available to work evenings and weekends, based on the needs of the business.

·      Valid PAL, Non-Restricted/Restricted Classification (can be acquired at time of hire).

·      A criminal background check and security assessment is required.
