Job Description

The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment. Reporting to the Director, PMO, the Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management (OCM) is responsible to design, plan, coordinate, and lead the organizational change management team at the Royal Canadian Mint. Working in partnership with senior and executive management the Senior Manager, OCM will advise on leading practices for OCM and will design and implement an OCM framework, methodologies, and roadmap to build and enable change management capabilities for a corporate portfolio. The Senior Manager, OCM will lead a small team of Change Management resources to support the change management and communication strategy and execution. The Senior Manager, OCM may also be deployed as a practitioner on major programs to lead large-scale OCM activities and strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the focal point for cross-organizational reach and credibility for an integrated program of change management and communications across the organization and its strategic plans.
  • Leads change management projects and works directly with business leaders and senior management to ensure they are actively and visibly supporting the change management initiatives throughout.
  • Develops a consistent approach and execution of change management framework and roadmap, methodology, tools, systems and processes, and ongoing maturity model and measurements.
  • Promotes effective communication across the organization and organizational change maturity.
  • Assesses and develops the internal capability and change readiness, monitors and champions change adoption.
  • Defines, develops, evolves and promotes organizational change management strategies for the Mint.
  • Leads the design, development and delivery of programs that drive organizational change for improved business outcomes and organizational readiness.
  • Utilizes leading change management processes to develop change integration plans and design partnership models with appropriate linkages to ensure effective alignment and optimal collaboration across business units.
  • Advises leadership on successful change management approaches, risk mitigation and lessons learned from industry best practices.
  • Leads a team of change experts and collaborates with business partners and leaders to build change management capabilities and integrate change management initiatives with strategic programs to develop and successfully implement organizational designs, transition and implementation plans. This includes performance and attendance management, recruitment and the administration of the collective agreement if applicable


Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications or related area
  • Minimum of 10 years of related business experience
  • Certified in Change Management methodology (ex. Prosci)
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management best practices, methodologies, tools, processes and approaches
  • Demonstrated project management skills and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a diverse workload and multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to manage effectively under pressure for meeting strict deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Bilingual (English and French) mandatory
