For those who are new to the service industry it is a great spot with unbeatable hours. Tip pooling is not great for anyone, but it is decent enough for a brunch spot. I would not say you are fairly compensated here for your work though.

Always really busy. Short shifts with too many staff hired so you lose out on full time hours once summer is over. Management get share in tips but typically don't work and stand around talking. Colleagues are mostly lovely.

This place is really busy so you're always going, going, going but your shifts fly by. I liked that I could start and end work early and have the rest of my day to do what I wanted.
The restaurant is really well run. They hire solid people in management and trust the service staff with their tables which makes working a lot more enjoyable.
If you don't mind the early morning hours, OEB is an ideal restaurant to apply to.
