Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items according to recipes and quality standards
- Design and develop new dessert offerings, seasonal menus, and signature items
- Decorate pastries and cakes with attention to detail and presentation
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage and handling of all food items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff or bakery assistants
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all products
- Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing, and production schedules
- Meet daily production targets and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
