Restaurant Manager Full Time

1000338375 Ontario Inc. (dba Ohiru Cafe) is seeking a Restaurant Manager.

Full-time, permanent; $37.00 per hour; 30-44 hours per week. Standard 6–8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 5pm.

Duties:

·      Oversee the day-to-day operations of Ohiru Cafe;

·      Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff;

·      Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns;

·      Monitor inventory and order food, beverages, and supplies;

·      Track sales and expenses and help improve restaurant performance;

·      Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained;

·      Work with suppliers to keep products and supplies in stock;

·      Support marketing and promotional activities to help grow the business;

·      Maintain a positive and efficient work environment for staff.

Qualifications:

·      Secondary school completion is required;

·      Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required;

·      Minimum 3 years in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required;

·      English language ability is required.
