Job Description
- Greeting customers warmly when they arrive
- Managing seating arrangements and waitlists
- Escorting guests to tables
- Answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Handling customer inquiries politely
- Coordinating table rotation between servers
- Keeping the entrance and dining area organized
- Assisting servers during busy game nights or events
- Communicating with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
- Providing a friendly first impression for guests
- Helping maintain cleanliness and customer flow
- Managing large group bookings or sports-event crowds
Qualification- - High school diploma or currently studying (often preferred, not always mandatory)
- Basic English communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Teamwork and multitasking skills
- Basic phone and reservation handling skills
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience (preferred but many pubs hire beginners too).
