Position Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, personable, and professional Servers to join our team. As a Server at Mita Mita, you are the face of the guest experience—delivering exceptional service, guiding guests through our menu, and creating memorable waterfront dining moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and engaging service to all guests
- Present menus, explain dishes, and make recommendations (food, tequila, cocktails)
- Take accurate orders and deliver food and beverages efficiently
- Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set at all times
- Maintain a strong understanding of menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Upsell menu items, daily features, and premium beverages
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
- Process payments accurately using POS systems
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Knowledge or interest in Mexican cuisine, tequila, and cocktails is an asset
- Smart Serve certification (or equivalent) required
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
