Fox and John's Kitchen & Bar is a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant and bar in the heart of Long Branch. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, handcrafted drinks, and outstanding hospitality in a warm, energetic atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the first smile our guests see when they walk through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently.
• Maintain the waitlist and communicate accurate wait times.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table flow.
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean and organized.
• Assist with light administrative and front-of-house duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hosting or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
