Job Description

- Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels
- Write progress reports

- Prepare a treatment plan for each patient
- Provide education to clients regarding health promotion and injury prevention, management and treatment
- Implement treatment plans
- Analyze the patient during the treatments
- Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs
- Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Canadian Athletic Therapists Association Membership (CATA)
- Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association
- CPR Certificate
