Line Cook / Chef de Partie Part Time

Responsibilities:

Food preparation:

Following the recipe to make sure all sauces and proteins are ready for service. Station Cooking: Responsible for frying and charbroiling. May rotate with other stations including working at the pass, participating at the chef's table, and catering. Cleaning and sanitizing: Keeping the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing equipment.

Following food safety guidelines: Following food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Other duties as assigned: Assisting with any other tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager. 

Qualifications:

2 + years experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
