Job Description
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- or equivalent experience Work setting
- Pharmacy or drugstore Tasks
- Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate
- Enter client information in databases
- Help pharmacists
- Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
- Maintain prescription records
- Prepare medications for clients
- Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
- Bill third party insurers
- Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
- Perform general clerical duties
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments Work conditions and physical capabilities
