We are looking for a Line Cook who can join our team. The employee must be available to work during weekdays and weekends on morning or evening shifts. The main responsibilities of this position are assisting in the preparation of dishes, setting up ingredients, and preparing them according to the recipe.
Requirements
- Kitchen skills: Washing, chopping vegetables, cutting meat, among others
- Kitchen duties: Use of convection ovens, sauté, and fryer
- Ensure workstation maintain clean on the practice
- First In, First Out (FIFO) Methodology
- Weight, label, and stock all food prep in the freezer or fridge
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate is an asset
- Availability to lift 40+ pounds
- Team player, good communication skills
- Language: Spanish speaking is a plus
Experience
- A school diploma or equivalent in a culinary school is preferred
- Proven experience as cook prep, restaurant cook, or line cook
- Multitasking, fast-paced, and busy environment is part of the daily task.
