Host(ess) Part Time / Full Time

House of Dawn Steakhouse is seeking a polished, professional, and guest-focused Host / Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

We are a fine dining steakhouse known for elevated service, warm hospitality, and refined ambiance. The host is the first and last impression of our restaurant — we’re looking for someone confident, organized, and genuinely welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations (OpenTable experience preferred)

• Coordinate seating flow between front dining, back dining, and private rooms

• Communicate effectively with servers and management

• Handle guest inquiries professionally (in person and by phone)

• Maintain entrance presentation and guest waiting area

• Support FOH team during busy service

Qualifications

• Previous host or restaurant experience preferred (fine dining experience is an asset)

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

• Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume service

• Weekend and evening availability required

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
