- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- or equivalent experience Tasks
- Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts
- Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts
- Diagnose and isolate faults on engines
- Discuss work with supervisor
- Document your inspection and tests made on engines
- Estimate repair costs
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Review work orders
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification Area of specialization
