Chef Luciano Schipano Hospitality Group is seeking a strong, hands-on, experienced cook to support daily kitchen operations and lead service alongside the Executive Chef and his team on Toronto Centre Island.
This can be a working leadership role. You must be comfortable running service, managing cooks, and supporting both restaurant and banquet production.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years kitchen experience
Proven ability to lead a line and manage service
Experience in banquet and mass production is an asset
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong organization, cleanliness, and discipline
Reliable, punctual, professional
Available evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
Support and lead kitchen operations during service
Supervise line cooks and ensure consistency and standards
Step in and run any station as needed
Maintain prep systems, ordering awareness, and inventory control
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation
Support catering and banquet production
Enforce cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Assist the Executive Chef in daily operations
