Line Cook / Chef de Partie Part Time / Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at Cibo Wine Bar in King Street. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• Monitor inventory and notify management of shortages
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or kitchen helper preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
