Cleaning/Maintenance Part Time / Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained workspace while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest areas, event rooms, washrooms, offices, hallways, and back of house spaces
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Refill washroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness before, during, and after events
• Support event setup and cleanup as required
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to management
• Follow health and safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear company uniform at all times
• Keep cleaning carts organized and out of guest view when possible
• Other duties assigned by the manager

Skills

• Previous cleaning, porter, janitorial, hospitality, or banquet experience is an asset
• Ability to communicate in English
• Good personal presentation and professional appearance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
• Able to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
