Job Description

Ellipsis is a dual-concept space, brunch by day and ingredient-driven dinner by night. Our kitchen focuses on seasonal ingredients, clean execution, and thoughtful flavour.

We are entering a new chapter in our kitchen and are looking for a Senior Line Cook who wants to help build structure, consistency, and a strong team culture.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead a station independently and support the overall flow of service.

What You’ll Be Responsible for:
 • Leading a station during brunch and dinner service
 • Executing dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
 • Managing your own prep lists and station organization
 • Supporting junior cooks with guidance and training
 • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, labeling, and food safety
 • Assisting with inventory awareness and minimizing waste
 • Contributing to a calm, focused kitchen environment

What We’re Looking for:
 • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
 • Experience running a station independently in a high-quality restaurant
 • Strong understanding of timing, seasoning, and plating fundamentals
 • Ability to stay composed during busy service
 • Reliable, punctual, and accountable
 • A collaborative mindset, no ego, strong team orientation
 • Someone interested in stability and long-term growth

Experience with brunch service and refined dinner menus is a strong asset.
