Sophie's Cosmic Cafe has been a family-owned business since 1988. Known for our quality, efficiency, and iconic atmosphere, we've become one of Kitsilano's busiest brunch destinations, serving our signature diner-style food in the heart of the community.

Since extending our operating hours last year, we've continued to grow our loyal customer base. We're heading into one of our busiest seasons and are looking to expand our team with someone who is passionate, hardworking, and ready to grow with us.

We're Looking For

Full-Time Line Cook (Immediate start, long-term position)

Availability:

• Wednesday to Sunday
• 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of line cook experience
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals and restaurant professionalism
• Valid Food Safe Certification
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and work-safe practices
• Takes pride in producing high-quality food and delivering excellent service
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• A proactive team player who takes initiative
• Works efficiently with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
