We're looking for experienced Servers to join the team at Mercato di Luigi in Chinatown! Our second Mercato location builds on the spirit of our first but introduces Cantina di Luigi - a hidden, intimate dining room tucked behind a drawn curtain. Encased in floor-to-ceiling wine racks, it pays tribute to the traditional Italian cantina, where wine was aged, meats were cured, and meals were soulful and simple. By day, Mercato is an Italian deli, café, and market. By night, it transforms into a full-service restaurant and wine-forward dining destination, celebrating Italian cuisine rooted in simplicity, seasonal ingredients, and a thoughtfully curated wine list.
You have:
- 1+ years of serving experience in a fast-paced environment
- Barista experience required
- Wine knowledge considered an asset (WSET or Italian Wine Scholar preferred)
- A passion for hospitality and the guest experience
- Excellent at both collaborative teamwork and thriving independently
- Experience with Italian cuisine considered an asset
- Weekend and Monday availability required
- Serving it Right required
