Job Description We are a Japanese-inspired snack bar focused on yoshoku cuisine and elevated cocktails, seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team.
We are looking for a experienced chef with full time availability. Someone who can work 4 days a week.
We will be open 6 days a week from 5pm-12am, closed on Mondays.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Minimum 2+ years professional kitchen experience (preferably in Japanese, Yoshoku, or fusion cuisine)
-Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques, and flavour profiles -Ability to execute consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
-Skilled in menu development, prep, and plating with creativity and attention to detail -Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
-Strong teamwork and communication skills -Ability to train, support, and collaborate with kitchen staff
-Passion for innovation and elevating casual Japanese-inspired dining -Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
-Food Safe and Work Permit are necessities Compensation will be based on experience level.
