Selene Aegean Bistro in East Vancouver is looking for dedicated front of house professionals to join our service team!
Selene is the latestest venture of Gaia House Hospitality which includes your Fraser St favourites, Nammos Estiatorio, AMA Raw Bar and the most recent addition of Le Faux Bourgeois. Recently awarded 2026 Best Mediterranean Restaurant by Vancouver Magazine, we offer modern Greek food with an Aegean influence in a lively service focused environment.
Applicants should have previous experience in a fast-paced room, a solid knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, and great attention to detail. Strong wine knowledge is an asset.
This role is for 4 days a week, Sunday & Monday nights are required for the 2 supervisor shifts, 2 serving shifts can be decided on.
Duties:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role/establishment is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role. Candidates must foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
