Sommelier / Wine Steward Part Time / Full Time

The Stable House Bistro & Wine Bar is looking for an experienced Sommelier. The number one goal of our Sommelier team is to actively provide guidance to our guests with our award winning wine list. The Sommelier must be able to expertly describe and transcribe our guests needs, selling the perfect wine for their wants, desires, and needs. The Sommelier will work in tandem with the team to achieve a harmonious service, delighting our guests along the way. This includes being a fully participating member of service. WSET II required, WSET III an asset. 

The Stable House Bistro is a cozy neighbourhood bistro-wine bar tucked just off Granville Street in Vancouver’s South Granville area. Inspired by modern European bistros, we are known for its seasonal, locally sourced dishes, thoughtfully curated wine list, and warm, unpretentious atmosphere.
