Line Cook / Chef de Partie Part Time / Full Time

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for the food industry. As a key member of our team, you will ensure a welcoming environment for all customers and uphold food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in opening or closing procedures when required.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner to promote a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Previous 2 years of barista experience is required .
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and measuring ingredients.
• Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Serving It Right certification is required.
