Basically my graveyard coworkers all are super supportive comparing to the day shifts which are taken by the seniority. The only one thing is challenging is a management, you deal with your own sh** alone, no help. They forget to add your sick days to the paystub or some other troubles you need to keep your eye on. Bad communication in btwn all of them make me feel frustrated. Also , when you need to fix something, they prioritize to waste your time on something not important. Kitchen and busser porters are super friendly and we use to hang out after work. The tip is decent when you get your clients and supper communicative person. Some weekends are challenging because you always understaffed . One day I served over 100 ppl on the floor because I was alone, so be prepared to walk a lot.

A fun place with great people. Management is super supportive, which allows you to work harder. Night time shifts can be hard, but the energy of the casino keeps you going.

Turn over is high. Compensation looks good for this kind of role until you realize how the level of responsibility differs from other food and beverage manager roles. Your work/life balance is basically non-existant. Hours are awful, you will work every weekend until 3 or 4 AM and getting time off is next to impossible. Advancement is promised but there is little room for growth. Casino management provides little to no support for the department and clearly does not care about funding or investing in the department. Patrons are extremely entitled and rude, but I suppose I would be too if I were loosing all my money in the machines.

Benefits package is nice, though. Good for entry level management without much going on in their lives, it’s a start in the field and if you can manage this you can manage anything.

I had a better experience with my coworkers, and learned more from my co workers than I ever did from management. Too much bias and excessive write ups and disciplines. Hr is also not on employees side.

When you start, you will work late nights which is great when you have young kids or families. Pay including tips is very reasonable for the work inquired. The HR department is hard to get a hold of, as it is a big company with many employees. Good benefits, but a lot of long hours on your feet in one place.
