The tips are pooled, paid-out based on hours-worked, and taxed-accordingly on your paychecks. Management does it's best to accommodate schedule/availability changes and is generally hands-on during service. It's a great place to start working in the hospitality industry due to lack of tip-outs and a safe clientele within the airport. Although better compensation can be found at a place where individual efforts are rewarded proportionately rather than relying on coworkers uphold the service standards over a two-week pay period. Biggest up side are stable and long hours with non-airline benefits such as employee parking, full-time health benefits and, airport employee discounts.

A Canadian location owned and operated by an American Company had some hiccups, but the training and education was exceptional and the opportunity to meet worldly travellers daily was a bonus.

Management team was very unprofessional and toxic but the location and the work culture the company wanted to represent was excellent. Great atmosphere working with travelers from all over the world.
