The tips are pooled, paid-out based on hours-worked, and taxed-accordingly on your paychecks. Management does it's best to accommodate schedule/availability changes and is generally hands-on during service. It's a great place to start working in the hospitality industry due to lack of tip-outs and a safe clientele within the airport. Although better compensation can be found at a place where individual efforts are rewarded proportionately rather than relying on coworkers uphold the service standards over a two-week pay period. Biggest up side are stable and long hours with non-airline benefits such as employee parking, full-time health benefits and, airport employee discounts.
