Dishwasher Part Time

Blueblood Steakhouse at Casa Loma are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment during evening hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and food service operations, with a focus on sanitation and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a busy restaurant or hospitality setting, ensuring smooth food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:

• Operate an industrial dishwasher
• Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
• Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
• Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• This is a physical job, heavy lifting
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications: 

• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments preferred
• Ability to operate dishwashing machinery and manual cleaning tools effectively
• Must be able to perform under pressure
• Must be able to handle a hot working environment
• Ability to work efficiently during night shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
