We are looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to run a successful restaurant located downtown Vancouver, with a focus on growing the business through excellent service, an energetic atmosphere and quality food & drinks. Responsible for supporting operations across a 150-seat restaurant offering a full-service dining room, lounge, and bar for lunch and dinner service.
Duties:
· Working in the restaurant during key meal periods to ensure memorable, quality guest experiences.
· Building the regular clientele to establish the restaurants in the local market.
· Recruit, train and manage key staff that add value and follow expectations.
· Set the atmosphere and tempo of the restaurants to promote a lively, energetic vibe.
· Service standards to include quick, professional service, reading guests expectations.
· Establish food and drinks standards with quality menu items while maintaining efficient bill times.
· Marketing and promotions through various channels to increase covers and fill each meal period.
· Survey the marketplace regularly for pricing, competition and changes.
· Carry out policy changes and initiatives as directed by senior management.
Requirements:
· Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior executive/GM role with a local reputable restaurant company.
· Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff.
· Marketing and promotions experience with F&B.
