Job Description

ZUMI is a modern Japanese revolving sushi restaurant located on Alberni Street in Downtown Vancouver, scheduled to open in September 2026. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our opening team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations and staff
Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling
Maintain excellent guest service and operational standards
Manage labour costs, inventory, and day-to-day operations
Support the successful opening of the restaurant

Qualifications:

2+ years of restaurant management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
New restaurant opening or Japanese restaurant experience is an asset
English required; additional languages are an asset

Compensation:
$70,000–$85,000/year + performance bonus, based on experience
