Having it face the hall and to see the restaurant full during service definitely is a nice change to be part of the ambience of the place while being in the kitchen. I also got to work during the Oktoberfest weeks, and got the chance to learn and work with different kinds of meats, charcuterie arrangements.

Upbeat. Nice being able to clock in, do your job, clock out. Everyone's assignments are understood and support from sous/shift leader is available whenever needed. Wage kinda hurt.

The compensation is decent and the team culture is generally friendly and supportive, but management is disorganized and there are very few opportunities for career growth. While I enjoyed working with some of my coworkers, the lack of clear guidance and professional development made it challenging to advance. If you’re looking for a short-term summer position and a decent coworkers, it could work, but don’t expect much in terms of promotion or long-term career development.
