The people you work with are great. The way it's run not so much.

Management both over and under hires depending on the position causing massive issues, sections which are seemingly assigned arbitrarily if not favouritism massive affect your tips, massive amounts of physical labour for setup and events you don't even work, most shifts in summer are on call dependent on weather and entirely inconsistent.

Arbitrary decisions are made with no regard to employee morale or retention.

Overall feels like a restaurant stuck in the past, unwilling to adapt and change to modern best business practices.

I really enjoyed working here at the start. The scheduling was consistent and was promising and tips were good. They over-hired for the summer season and left lots of servers with only on-call shifts and a quiet section. When you start, they will give you the bad sections and expect you to be quiet, take it and prove your worth. I believe in a fair work environment and if you do too, don't bother here. Favouritism is BIG. Get a cold? Forget about good sections for a week or two. Very unprofessional in the way they value staff as people rather than workers. The servers are great so it makes for a fun atmosphere. High expectations of service with no incentives or rewards for hard work. If you're a people pleaser, this is the place for you.

Great place to work environment-wise....but when you work 40+ hours a week and your paycheck comes back for 600$ with MAYBE $80 every 2 weeks, after taxes and then paying over 40$ a week for PARKING, which you often have to arrive AN HOUR EARLY TO FIND. Its discouraging.

It’s just disappointing at the end of the day going back home with no money even though you worked your ass off serving and bussing tables. We are servers and we work for our tips, that’s what keeps us going!

But from my observance the tips were good one day and really bad an other day.
