The coworkers were cool most of the time, but some members of management were not the best. I was a cook and there was a lot of favoritism that happened in the work place that didn't have anything to do with your performance. It's not a bad place to work if you don't care too much but if you're serious about learning or growing, you probably won't learn too much here. The overall environment is not super strict, but it works against the restaurant at times because sometimes people get away with too much.

I enjoyed working at La Carnita very much. A big, busy restaurant with a staff that felt like a family.
