Ancora West is looking for Line Cooks to amaze the patrons of our establishment. Come refine your culinary skills under the direction of Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde.
The Ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic and be up to date with current culinary trends. They must be able to take direction and work as part of a team in a high pressure, high performing kitchen. Most importantly, candidates should be driven to succeed and be passionate about food, flavours and learning their craft.
• Follow the guidance of Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde
• Optimize the cooking process with a strong focus on both quality and speed
• Maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation within the team
• Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Able to use various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment at a high level
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• A culinary school diploma would be an asset, but is not required
This is a great opportunity to learn and grow as part of the Ancora West Team. We will provide the experience and training necessary to move up the line at Ancora, or open new opportunities for advancement at other or future Viaggio Hospitality concepts.

Ancora Ambleside's dining space was designed with soft modern lines that embrace the warmth and richness of the city’s waterfront landscape. The interiors feature a subtle mix of soft blues, sand-inspired neutrals and light woods to thoughtfully reflect a gentle, coastal feel, and a serene but sophisticated style. Gorgeous fishnet-inspired crystal chandeliers were imported from Italy, along with custom-colour premium leather furniture sourced from Europe.
