Dishes are carefully curated to showcase the regionally-specific spices and flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean seaboard. The restaurant is open for dinner and on weekends. BYBLOS UPTOWN is currently hiring LINE COOKS to join the culinary team!
Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for safely preparing ingredients required for food service from a sanitary environment. The ideal candidate would have previous kitchen experience, and are motivated by desire to progress in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
Skills and Qualifications
-Minimum 1-2 years related experience as a cook
-Strong knife skills and use of kitchen equipment and utensils
-Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings and nights
-Must be energetic with a passion for food and a positive attitude
-Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
-Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism (i.e. punctuality, commitment to the job, well-groomed, mannerly, great team work etc.)
-Attention to detail
-Food Handling and Health & Safety training an asset
