Host – New Restaurant Opening
Davie Social is seeking friendly, organized Hosts to join our opening front-of-house team. This role sets the tone for the guest experience and is key to smooth service flow.
Location: 1202 Davie Street, Vancouver, BC
Pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience
Start Date: February (opening team)
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and manage reservations and waitlists
Coordinate seating flow with servers and management
Answer phones and assist guests with inquiries
Maintain a clean and welcoming entrance area
Support FOH team during peak periods
Qualifications
Previous host or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Opening experience is an asset
