We’re looking for an experienced culinary leader to take our new location in Toronto.
Our restaurants is evolving with new branding and fresh design and we are looking for some with the creativity to join us on our journey. This 8,600 Sqft restaurant will be high volume restaurant with large kitchen staff.
We are looking for the right person that will work with us and not for us!
Our Chef is to manage a successful kitchen with strong leadership, creativity and excellent communication skills. With the ambition to become our executive chef as we continue to expand
o A minimum of 5 years of previous management experience Effective problem solver Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast paced environment Strong leadership skills – must be able to direct, supervise and coach staff Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room staff.
o Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to five hours).
o Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
o Have stamina to work 50 hours per week.
o Food handlers certificate
o First Aid Certification an asset
o Health and Safety Level 1 & 2 Certification an asset o Reliable transportation
Date Available: January 7th, 2018
Compensation: $50,000- $65,000
