Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable prep cook / kitchen assistant to support day-to-day kitchen operations. This is a foundational role you keep the kitchen running smoothly, cleanly, and efficiently.

This is not a “stand around and wait” job. It suits someone who likes staying busy and takes pride in keeping things tight and organized.

Responsibilities

• Food prep (basic knife work, portioning, assembling simple dishes)
• Plating and finishing dishes during service
• Dishwashing and maintaining a clean workspace
• Polishing glassware and cutlery to service standard
• General kitchen cleaning and organization
• Assisting with receiving and basic inventory organization

Team support:

• Running food to tables when needed
• Working closely with FOH to keep service smooth
• Stepping in where needed during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable and consistent—shows up on time, ready to work
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Able to stay focused and productive during slower periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

Experience:

• Kitchen or prep experience required

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly wage: $20 + tip share
• Hours: Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun (approx. 30 hours weekly)
